These Terms of Use & Service apply to the BMEvents website and event livestreaming services operated by Borkovic Media Inc. BMEvents is a division of Borkovic Media Inc. Please read these terms carefully before using this website or booking a streaming service with us.
Borkovic Media Inc. operates Borkovic Media Events, also referred to as BMEvents. Borkovic Media Events / BMEvents is a division of Borkovic Media Inc.
BMEvents provides event livestreaming and recording services for weddings, funerals, memorials, churches, conferences, schools, recitals, community events, venues, recurring partners, and other approved events.
BMEvents offers an Essentials Package and a Full Production Package. Final service details are confirmed in the client’s quote, agreement, invoice, or written booking confirmation.
For one-time events, BMEvents streams are accessed through the BMEvents website using an event code. BMEvents does not stream directly to a client-owned channel as part of the standard one-time event service.
For recurring clients or partner arrangements, direct streaming to a client-owned channel or platform may be discussed and must be agreed to in writing.
BMEvents provides the event code to the client or event host. The client is responsible for deciding how the event code is shared. If the client shares the code publicly, including on social media, anyone with the code may be able to access the livestream or replay while access is enabled.
Every BMEvents stream is recorded, and the full recording is sent to the client after the event once processing is complete. BMEvents does not currently provide edited clips or highlight videos as part of the standard service unless separately agreed to in writing.
BMEvents currently serves events anywhere in Alberta and plans to expand to other provinces in the future. Travel, accommodation, parking, or other location-related fees may apply depending on the event location and setup requirements and will be confirmed during the quote process.
BMEvents pricing is quote-based. Pricing may depend on event type, event length, location, setup needs, production package, internet requirements, audio requirements, travel, and any custom requests.
Note: In compliance with the Competition Bureau’s drip-pricing guidance, promoted pricing will always include mandatory charges to ensure transparency, excluding applicable taxes.
Payment terms, deposits, due dates, and accepted payment methods will be provided in the client’s quote, invoice, or booking confirmation.
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund terms will be confirmed in the quote, invoice, or booking confirmation. Event rescheduling is subject to BMEvents availability.
Outdoor events may require rescheduling, modified setup, or cancellation if conditions are unsafe for equipment, staff, or attendees.

The client is responsible for obtaining all permissions, licences, consents, and approvals required for the event to be livestreamed and recorded.
Most events require access to power, setup time, a suitable camera location, safe equipment placement, and audio access when available. BMEvents will work with the client and venue to plan the setup, but the client is responsible for ensuring BMEvents has permission to access and operate at the venue.
BMEvents may use reliable venue internet or provide Starlink internet when setup conditions allow. Starlink requires a suitable setup location and clear sky access. BMEvents will make reasonable efforts to provide a reliable stream, but internet conditions, venue limitations, platform issues, power failures, weather, or other factors outside BMEvents’ control may affect the livestream. BMEvents does not guarantee a completely uninterrupted broadcast stream.
Outdoor events are subject to weather, power availability, audio conditions, camera placement, internet availability, and safety considerations. BMEvents may modify or decline an outdoor setup if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
The client is responsible for ensuring they have the right to livestream and record all event content, including music, performances, theatre productions, presentations, images, videos, logos, slides, and sponsor materials.
BMEvents is not responsible for copyright claims, takedowns, muted audio, blocked streams, or other platform restrictions caused by event content provided, performed, or authorized by the client.
BMEvents streams are hosted through a dedicated BMEvents YouTube channel and accessed through the BMEvents website. YouTube or related services may impose restrictions, remove content, mute audio, block streams, or experience service issues. BMEvents is not responsible for third-party platform actions outside its control.
The client receives the full event recording after the event. BMEvents will not use private event recordings for marketing without permission from the client.
For public events, BMEvents may request permission to use short samples, screenshots, or event footage for portfolio or demonstration purposes. BMEvents may create a sample/demo page only using content it has permission to display.
The client is responsible for notifying attendees, speakers, performers, staff, volunteers, students, and other participants that the event may be livestreamed and recorded, and for obtaining any required consents.
Captions, accessibility services, interpretation, or other accommodations are not included unless specifically agreed to in writing.
BMEvents cannot guarantee that every viewer will be able to access the livestream, as viewer access may depend on the viewer’s internet connection, device, browser, and ability to enter the event code correctly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borkovic Media Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunity, reputational harm, or emotional distress arising from use of the website or services.
Users may not misuse the website, attempt to access streams without authorization, share codes in a way that violates the event host’s instructions, copy or redistribute recordings without permission, interfere with the website, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Borkovic Media Inc. may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the BMEvents website with a new effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
